I am writing this trapped under a nappng Faye who flat out refused to sleep untill 4am last night so is insanely overtired and irrational today so won’t nap on her own either. That is basically how my whole week has gone too so I am in one hell of a bad mood. Now to look back and hopefully smile at some nice times this week!
Faye loves going to.playgroups and it is nice to spend some time just with her when Aiden is at nursery in the mornings. She was thrilled with the paints and later the glue this week.
Aiden really is a huge ran of the dinosaur hat he got for Christmas and of thumbs up too.
For the first year ever (because I hadn’t heard of it before) we are taking part in the RSPB bird watch survey and recieved their pack this week. The kid’s were super excited to watch our bird tables and try and spot birds from the guide. Aiden’s favourite is the blackbird as he is almost guaranteed to see one every time he checks!
The lovely Laurence King publishers sent us some domino’ which Aiden was very happy with. I think we will play with them later as we haven’t had chance yet and I haven’t played in years.
Just one “nice” photos to send the grandfolks…. too much to ask for no nose picking?!
Aiden got a new Lego ideas book from the library and wanted to make an ambulance so we did. There are no instructions but that’s how I like to build lego best.
My hair has been absolutely awful since I had my two kids. Fab during pregnancy then around four months after giving birth is all starts falling out and thinning. Luckily I have very thick hair to start with but the curls are really in a bad way. Anyhow I joined a fb group that practices a Curly Girl hair method of no shampoo and just conditioner. There are a million other rules about what conditioners are safe etc and it has taken me about 2 weeks to figure it out but finally have the right products. Hopefully I’ll be able to show you some astonishing before and after posts in a few months! Anyone else out there use this method?
