I am getting a teeny tiny bit fed up of starting these posts saying the kids were sick again.  But they were. Everywhere. I have just got through wash number 8 in two days but luckily it seems to have been a 48hr thing so now we can enjoy the weekend.  Here is our week. I won’t share the puke photos I sent Keith whilst he is away..

I have been on a bit of a DIY mission this week and it started by framing some of last year’s’ Buster Lang calander images. They are diver humour and I happen to also love funny cartoons in bathrooms so it is win win in this house. I think Keith will be happy when he returns from work whenever that might be.

We took a wee walk to a local shop that is a collection of artists and crafts people who make products locally as they had a special Mother’s Day competition I wanted to enter for my Mum. Aiden loved the knit bombing that had happened outside although he has a very amusing aversion to kilts so didn’t want to get to close to this chap!

The sun came out!! I am all geared up for it to hurry up and be dry for a few days so I can sort some more of the garden. I found this table and chairs at our local tip (they have a charity shop on site,  how smart is that!) And I got these paints to review so I think I’ll have the perfect little up cycling project to work on if it stays dry. Now the question is which colours? How many and do I go stripes or blocks of colour?!

Aiden went missing one afternoon but luckily Spiderman came to replace him.

Another of my DIY projects is to create an art gallery of my kid’s work as I had a cork board wall when I was a kid and would love to corate my own galleries so I’m hoping the kids will like theirs too. I saw this idea on Pinterest so you know where to put all the frames. I must say it was very helpful and finally no Pinterest fail here!

A product review shot as the sun continued to shine and I got the decking well and truly scrubbed with some Liberton products.  Now I need a dry afternoon to stain it and I’ll be chuffed.

These cheeky two have been sick with tummy bugs so I am very happy that they have all recovered now and are back to annoying each other in a cute way. Most of the time anyhow…

Aiden was asked to draw a picture of me for a Mother’s Day card. I’ll take that! Although I do look rather mischievous 🙂

  2. Sorry to hear the kids have been poorly again. It must be so tiring for everyone. I’m SO glad you didn’t share that picture because I have a phobia. Glad to hear they are back to normal now and fingers crossed they stay that way! Love the Mother’s Day card.
