This week I am afraid I am going to have to just drop my photos here and dash because I haven’t slept a wink in over 48 hours now. On Thursday night Aiden had real difficulties breathing and had the most horrendous cough that sounded like he had fluid on his lungs and was so rattly it was awful. We took him into our bed to keep an eye on him and as noone was getting any sleep I sent Keith to sleep on the sofa so he would be better able to pick up the slack from me having no sleep, the next day. It is horrible to watch your kids in so much pain and so upset. As soon as Faye was up in the morning I nursed her and we all headed to A & E because I couldn’t leave Aiden and I couldn’t leave Faye. Anyhow the long and short of it was a 5 hour hospital stay, a pretty stressed out Aiden who was low on oxygen and high in temperature but as cute as ever. They say he has a viral infection and weezing so have given us steroids and a temporary inhaled. He hates both but just wanted to get out of the hospital so agreed to take them at home. Thank heavens I am still breastfeeding Faye as it meant she could just have extra as we all missed breakfast and I could get her to nap on me in a busy A & E.
Before the horrible breathing attack our week had been filled with sunshine, lots of crafting (check out this week’s #littlemakes if you ever want to make a Deathstar out of a pizza tray base!) and the most wonderful fancy dress birthday party of a friend of Aiden’s.
